Always wanted to try embroidery? Want to create a beautiful work of art accompanied fun and friendship? Then join the party, where we will be capturing Korea's national flower, the Mugunghwa - you will in essence be creating your own hand-made bit of Korea! All skill levels welcome, but I shall be breaking the techniques down step-by-step for total beginners. The session is recorded and shared with participants, so even if you miss a session, you can make it up at your leisure.
You will be provided with the digital pattern and live step-by-step guidance through the flower with the option of asking questions at any time during the sessions.
Required tools and materials:
6" embroidery hoop
Embroidery floss in the following colors:
White (at least 12 yards)
pink (6 yards)
magenta (4 yards)
dark magenta (2 yards)
yellow (1 yard)
dark green (2 yards)
light green (2 yards)
Medium-weight linen (light blue, light pink, cream colored - some light color), 1 yard
Hand sewing needles, medium
Good fabric scissors/snips
A yard/meter stick
Heat transfer pencil

Iron/Ironing board
