Discover the history of Renaissance platform shoes while also learning how to make them yourself in this hands-on workshop led by the Creative Contessa and her Condottiero. This will be a five-session course offered both in-person and via Zoom. All sessions shall be recorded so that even if you cannot make a session, you have full access to the course materials.
IN-PERSON requirements: For the safety of everyone, for in-person participation we are requiring proof of having received a complete Covid vaccination two weeks or more before the session.
What we provide:
-Engaging and succinct lecture on the history and culture surrounding these delightful shoes
-Step-by-step guidance through the process of making, including all techniques
-A complete, detailed list of all materials and tools required, along with tips on where to source items
-Access to recordings of all classes, whether you participated in-person or virtually.
-Assistance and troubleshooting as we go through the process
-Amusing conversation and witty repartee to keep everyone entertained through the agony of the creation process.
What we do NOT provide:
-Any materials or tools - you must source these yourself. 🙂
